New Moons mark the beginning of every lunar cycle. This New Moon will be in the sign of Cancer on July 9th at 09:16 PM EST. This is the first New Moon we will be having after a very intense eclipse and mercury retrograde season. During our time in the Eclipse, we may have experienced gains and losses that were all for our highest good. It was a time when we may have felt stuck or stagnant, but the universe was working to remove certain people or things from our life to bring new beginnings that this New Moon in Cancer will bring forth.

Cancer is connected to our inner security, ancestry, roots, foundations, home, and nurturing abilities. It is essential to establish a solid inner world to reflect that to our outer world during this time. Cancer is a water sign ruled by the moon, making it linked to our deepest emotions, even those we can’t see. The best question to ask ourselves here is, what can we do to achieve peace and emotional balance in our inner world to project the same vibration in our outer world?

This energy grants us the passion, assertion, creativity, and courageousness that we need to give us that extra push. However, at the same time, we may feel highly emotional and tense. This energy sounds a bit chaotic, but it works in our favor by allowing us to reach the culmination of specific ways and patterns, leading us to experience transformations and breakthroughs.

Cancer is a Cardinal sign that allows us to give birth to new projects, relationships, and goals. In essence, this is the perfect time to focus on our manifestations and take that step forward into this new chapter of your life. What seed do we want to plant? How will it benefit us emotionally as well as the collective? What can we do for ourselves to enhance our healing process?
